heeaene (hereinafter referred to as the "App Provider") values the user's personal information and complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the "Personal Information Protection Act." This Privacy Policy applies to the 'Merge Fish : Idle Aquarium' (hereinafter referred to as the "App") service.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The App Provider processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and prior consent will be sought if the purpose of use changes.

  1. Provision of Customized Advertising: Behavioral information is used to provide customized advertisements that match the user's interests through third-party advertising partners when using free services within the App.
  2. Service Improvement and Statistical Analysis: De-identified information is used for statistical analysis purposes to improve service stability, understand usage status, and provide better services.

Article 2 (Items and Method of Collection of Personal Information)

1. No Personal Information Directly Collected or Stored by the App Provider:

This App does not require membership registration. The App Provider does not directly collect or store on servers any information that can identify an individual, such as the user's name, email address, or phone number.

  • Payment Information: All payment processing and storage of payment information (credit card info, account info, etc.) generated during In-App Purchases are handled entirely through the payment systems of the platform providers (Google Play Store, Apple App Store). The App Provider does not directly collect or store any payment information or receipt data on separate servers.
  • Game Data: All data, including game progress, obtained currency (coins, tickets), and item status, is stored only locally on the user's device. When the App is deleted, this data is destroyed together and cannot be recovered.

2. Information Automatically Collected During Service Use (Behavioral Information):

Although the App Provider does not collect personal information, the following de-identified information may be automatically collected through third-party partners (SDKs) for the purpose of providing in-app advertisements (AdMob) and analyzing service usage (Firebase).

  • Collected Items: Advertising Identifier (ADID/IDFA), Cookies, Device Information (Model, OS version, Language settings), IP Address, Approximate Location Data, etc.
  • Collection Method: Automatically collected through the SDK of third-party partners when running or using the App.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

In principle, the App Provider does not provide the user's personal information to third parties. However, de-identified behavioral information is provided to trusted partners for service provision as follows.

Article 4 (Period of Processing and Retention of Personal Information)

Since the App Provider does not store users' personal information on a separate server, there is no separate retention period for personal information.

  • Local Data: All game data stored on the user's device is immediately destroyed when the user deletes (uninstalls) the App.
  • Third-Party Data: Behavioral information collected by third-party partners is processed and retained according to each partner's policy and is destroyed if the user refuses collection or after a certain period defined by the partner.

Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Users and Method of Exercise)

Users have the right to refuse collection for customized advertising and data analysis at any time. Advertising identifiers can be disabled or reset in device settings.

  • Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset or Delete advertising ID
  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Allow Apps to Request to Track 'Off'

Article 6 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)

The App Provider makes the following efforts for the security of the App service.

  1. Local Storage of Data: The user's in-app activity data is stored only in a safe space within the user's device, not on an external server.
  2. Data Encryption and Transmission Security: When transmitting behavioral information to third-party partners, encrypted communication (SSL) is used to manage it safely.
